Last but not least: Collapsing poster structures
The anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall was also celebrated in Portugal. A sensational poster installation advertised the accompanying special edition.
The fall of the Berlin Wall - a perennial topic. Especially in the anniversary year 2014 - here too, of course. Back in June, we reported on the Photo project by BBDO Berlin. And at the beginning of November Titanic-against-picture-wall-fall-special-number-swap of the satirical party Die Partei. Incidentally, the campaign was a great success and the exchanged newspapers were neatly deposited in front of Bild editorial offices throughout Germany.

There were special editions to mark the anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall not only in Germany, but also in other countries. In Portugal, for example. After all, the fall of the Wall not only reunited a divided country, but actually the whole world. The weekly magazine Sábado dedicated a special issue to the memorable 25th anniversary. That's nice. But the campaign with which the agency MSTF-Partners Lisbon promoted the magazine was even better: In the cities of Lisbon and Porto, two poster stands were made to "collapse" - analogous to the wall. And left up for a week with the corresponding motif. Outdoor advertising with symbolic power - and guaranteed reflection. In contrast to the wall, the toppled objects were pulled up again after the end of the campaign and neatly restored. After all, they have to last at least another 25 years and delight society with good tidings. (hae)
