On Friday, all eyes will be on London as Kate and Prince William, the heir to the throne, tie the knot. The Paulaner brewery is taking this opportunity to congratulate the bride and groom with a commercial.
The 20-second program, which has been specially converted for the wedding, will be shown on Friday as part of all special broadcasts. The first broadcast will be at 8.47 am on N24. Horizont.net has already put the spot online a day earlier. It features the same characters as the original. In the converted commercial, regular Max speaks one "Yes" after another into his cell phone. A voice from off-screen finally clarifies: "In London today they say yes, and mia sogn dazu: Cheers and all the best".
The fact that people on the island promise each other eternal fidelity with "I do" should probably be neglected here. After all, it's about Kate and William's wedding - and Paulaner beer. Well then, cheers.
