Last but not least: A tortured laugh
The Bratislava Zoo has launched an advertising campaign. The ads are being shared widely—though mainly by opponents of the zoo.
The animals conjure up a smile on visitors' faces, the pictures want to convey. "The truth is not funny at all," says one commentator about the living conditions of zoo animals. Another speaks of a "false laugh." In fact, the pictures seem rather sinister than cheerful Sunday outing mood. (sis)
