Last but not least: The "Shareville approach"
«The Internet is turning the world into a village,» people used to say just a few years ago. Today, that village has long since become a city. The Zurich-based agency «Notch Interactive» explored this city together with social web expert Sam Steiner (Alike.ch) and storyteller Sämi Weber (Bauchtreffer.ch), and developed the «Shareville Approach» in collaboration with these two partners.
It is designed to help companies better understand the trendy "social web" and navigate it successfully. You could say that the Internet has changed the world. Until a few years ago, it was enough for a company to have a website in the city. Today, such a shop window is only a small part of the picture. The future is called the "social web", according to the founding agency of the "Shareville approach". Whether the "social web" will democratize the entire global economy as well as the Internet remains to be seen. In any case, it is not an advertising medium like TV, radio or print that can simply be added to the media mix.
The "Shareville Approach" shows how companies can gradually approach the "social web" trend quarter and successfully navigate it once they have arrived. On the way from "Shareville Visitor" to "Shareville Native", the "Shareville Approach" distinguishes between five different stages. The "Shareville Checklist" enables interested companies to carry out a self-assessment.
