Last but not least: Coca-Cola flirts with potential employees

In speed dating, people looking for love have to figure out in a short amount of time whether they’re a good match. Coca-Cola Switzerland is applying this same principle to the world’s first Job Dating Day.

Coca-Cola is breaking new ground in the recruitment of sales representatives: at the Job Dating Day, the company initially dispenses with CVs and letters of application. Instead, the focus is on getting to know each other in a relaxed atmosphere. Interested candidates get to know the Coca-Cola company in several short "dates". At the subsequent job date, Coca-Cola employees explain the tasks and development prospects of a salesperson. Afterwards, they have the opportunity to prove themselves as sales representatives for the first time: on the Game Date, a computer game developed especially for this event. Finally, the Speed Date is a short, direct conversation between the interested parties and Coca-Cola employees, in which the focus is on getting to know each other personally.

In the evening, there's still time for some real flirting: All participants and their friends are invited to a big party in the Kaufleuten Festsaal together with Coca-Cola employees. And if you don't have a good chance of getting a job, but are otherwise quite nice, you will of course still have the opportunity to catch a Coca-Cola employee at the party - this will certainly increase your chances of a career with the large corporation many times over.
