When the dead tweet
To stop Trump, the agency O1 has dead celebrities tweeting.

The #TweetFromTheStars campaign gives a voice to long-dead stars. From the digital world back to the hard ground of reality. With stickers stuck on the Walk of Fame. With original allusions to the great work of the deceased.
Nice. But also pretty pointless. Because even in the post-factual era, undecided voters would probably be best swayed by facts. The other two camps have long since made up their minds anyway and would not switch sides for any advertising campaign in the world.
Besides, who is to say that the personalities involved would not have voted for Donald Trump? Walt Disney, for example? Michael Jackson? Alfred Hitchcock? Elvis Presley?
More likely a - well-done - self-presentation by the agency. After all, anti-Trump is known to delight many.
This also applies to the campaign that The Blue Donkey Collective recently launched for Hillaryclinton.com. Beautifully realized retro travel posters that remind us that emigrating is not a solution if the worst comes to the worst. But the camp for whom Trump's election would be a reason to emigrate, or at least a disaster, hardly needs to be lured to the polls with advertising campaigns. (hae)
