When you care more about the cake than the person
If you have a cake in the passenger seat, you usually drive more carefully than with a human passenger. Renault has therefore developed the "Safety Cake" in Belgium.

Many drivers will be familiar with this phenomenon: You drive most carefully when you are transporting something delicate and material. No rapid acceleration, slow bends, anticipatory braking - the main thing is that the potted plant doesn't fall over or the pretty cake isn't damaged.
Compared to a human life, however, damage to a cake would be a thousand times more manageable. Anyone transporting a person does not normally worry about driving particularly carefully.
The Mortierbrigade agency from Brussels has therefore created the "Safety Cake" in collaboration with Renault. It is so susceptible to damage that it is not at all forgiving of any fast driving maneuvers. It is designed to remind drivers that they should always have it on the passenger seat - even if it has two legs.
