Away with the weapons, away with the poster
Saatchi & Saatchi has created a poster—and hopes it will disappear again soon.

A campaign that the client and agency would be happy if it didn't have to be done. But they have to. After all, in the USA there is an average of one mass murder committed with a firearm every day, resulting in at least four fatalities. The chance of being caught up in a shooting spree is still low - but of course many times higher than in other countries.
The centerpiece of the campaign created by Saatchi & Saatchi for the NGO Concerned Citizens to Take Down Gun Violence is an information poster that gives advice on how best to behave in the event of an incident. And thus significantly increases the chances of survival.
For example, you learn that you only lose time unnecessarily when you try to "dodge" like zig-zagging. And that it's best to leave everything behind instead of giving it any thought at all.
Not really uninteresting - certain questions have certainly been asked in the recent past. Let's hope that such educational campaigns really will one day become superfluous and the motto will be: guns down, posters down. (hae)
