"Ugly and forgotten"

The London-based agency Droga5 is turning ugly endangered species into stars on Valentine's Day cards with a twist. Not only do these cards draw attention—and evoke sympathy—but the proceeds also go to organizations that protect such endangered species.

Polar bears and pandas are the winners among the endangered species - they are cute, everyone knows them and loves them. But it's not just animals with a yoo-hoo effect that are threatened with extinction - ugly creatures are also on the red list. However, it's not just the likeable creatures that are lovable, because "True Love is Blind": true love is blind.

Droga5 from London are giving these "ugly and forgotten" people a bit of jööh and glamour as the main characters on Valentine's greeting cards, the proceeds of which will go to various environmental organizations.

Droga5 got the printing company Streaming Cooler, the photo agency Shutterstock and a number of photographers to produce the subjects at a greatly reduced price in order to generate as much money as possible for environmental organizations. (nod)
