Spider app on tour
A clever campaign in Ecuador promotes a roaming plan that includes screen protection. The ads were created by Publicis.

We've seen it before - unfortunately. Even though the glass displays of smartphones are getting stronger and more resistant, the mishap happens again and again. One wrong impact is enough to turn the screen into a single crack disaster. The vernacular likes to call it a "spider app" because the glass jumps look like a spider web. In Equador, the agency Publicis has interpreted the (for the wallet) painful patterns differently: To promote the internationally valid display glass insurance of the provider Moviestar, the spider webs became city maps. The message: No matter where it happens, we'll replace the display. Award-worthy!
