Snow-sure
The Audi Quattro is particularly confident in snow and ice. Not only Walter Röhrl says so, but also the Montreal cab agency.

Even though almost every car brand today offers all-wheel drive models: The legend of the Quattro remains untouched. Audi neither invented four-wheel drive nor made it ready for series production. But it has always marketed it most skillfully. The 1986 commercial in which rally driver Harald Demuth drove up a ski jump in the Audi 100 Quattro remains unforgotten. The legendary performance brought Audi many new customers and the Düsseldorf agency responsible, Team/BBDO, a Golden Lion in Cannes.

Even 30 years later, the Quattro is still the number one selling point of the Ingolstadt-based car manufacturer. Even without an elaborate ski jump staging. In Montreal, the Taxi agency reminded us with a "snow tagging" that all-wheel drive makes particular sense in Canada. Or would make sense, if you had one. (hae)
