The Kassel Nordshausen/Brasselsberg Volunteer Fire Department is going viral with a three-minute tutorial on live communication.
The unexpected often happens: The Kassel Nordshausen/Brasselsberg volunteer fire department had been preparing for the big performance for some time and, in coordination with Christ Veranstaltungstechnik (responsible for "the great light show!!"), put on a great show for the assembled crowd. The theme: the spectacular unveiling of the new Hector fire engine.
The preparations paid off, on June 7 the time had come: Hector took to the stage:
The fact that more than 2.4 million people - and counting - had watched the video shared on Facebook a week after it was published surprised those responsible. "What the hell is going on here?!" they asked after the million views had already been cracked in three days.
The reason for the nationwide distribution: a user posted the video with the comment "Very German." on Reddit.com shared. The users immediately took the performance to their hearts. Music, dramaturgical overlength, smoke, light, comments from the audience - everything is just right. We take our hats off. (hae)
