Actor Martin Freeman appears in a Vodafone ad—and puts his foot in his mouth.

Vodafone and Ogilvy London probably have good reasons why they don't want to share the new campaign with "Hobbit" star Freeman with the rest of the world. After all, the actor, who became famous through the great BBC series "The Office", would have enough fans worldwide. And after all, Vodafone is available almost everywhere. Unfortunately, the original commercials on YouTube are blocked for viewers outside the UK.

The campaign would comprise three commercials, of which at least "The Wedding" has made it across British borders thanks to a Spanish-speaking Youtuber. The re-upload in an intoxicating 480p has made it onto numerous advertising portals around the world in the last few days.

The commercial can now also be found in better quality on Vimeo. And whets the appetite for the two sequels "The Excuse" and "The Hat", in which, according to Sherlockshome.com should be about similar mishaps. Come time, come upload. (hae)
