When it comes to visual advertising, the advantages of a Smart are quickly demonstrated: The small, maneuverable car fits into even the smallest of gaps. Conveying this in a radio commercial is more complicated. In addition, Turkish radio stations play a lot of car commercials. So standing out from the crowd can be quite difficult.
Publicis Emil Turkey has found a way to package the benefits of a Smart car in a radio spot. At 0.84 seconds long, the spot is probably one of the shortest of its kind and is "parked" between other car radio ads.
The Istanbul-based agency captured the "World's SMARTest radio spot" in a case movie - small spelling mistake included.
