Personalized toys

In India, KFC meals come with a special «toy»: a mini version of the customer.

The fact that you can 3D-scan and print people is nothing new—we reported We already wrote about this back in 2013. But the whole thing is still fascinating. And expensive. Unless, of course, you live in India and are one of the lucky 50 KFC customers who will be the first to order the new «5-in-1 I-Box» at select locations in Mumbai and Bangalore. Along with the greasy chicken pieces, you get a miniature replica with all the trimmings.

It's unclear whether you can take the figure home right away. Although the 3D scan takes only a fraction of a second, the printing process, on the other hand, takes—at least in Switzerland – Allow four hours. So while you're waiting, you could easily eat a chicken or two.

The campaign was created by the digital agency Blink Digital From Mumbai. (hae)
