Mainzelmännchen advertise on ZDF for physical distance
Also the Mainzelmännchen advertise in the ZDF from now on for physical distance because of the Corona crisis. The six cartoon characters will call in newly produced films, among other things, to stay at home and work in the home office, as the station announced on Thursday in Mainz.

The first new so-called inserts will initially be broadcast in the commercial break between the "heute" news at 7 p.m. and the weather. Gradually, more short clips will be produced and shown elsewhere in the program. There are also plans to use them in other playout channels.
The Mainzelmännchen have been on ZDF since April 2, 1963. They separate the commercial break from the program. They are best known for their "Gud'n Aaamd! The six Mainzelmännchen are called Anton, Berti, Conni, Det, Edi and Fritzchen. (SDA)
