In Amsterdam, you can pay with hand-drawn bills at a store.

...is celebrating its 60th birthday. To mark this proud anniversary, the Belgian agency Friendship probably the most creative store idea in Amsterdam: You can pay for everything with money that you draw yourself. On site - pens and blank banknotes available.

Items such as limited edition golden BIC pens, cardboard Töggeli boxes, smartphone covers, boomboxes and toys can be purchased. According to the "Huisregels" (discovered in a photo below), only one item may be purchased per person ("Per persoon maar één stuk per item"). So the whole thing seems to be not only a nice idea, but also one that works. Let's hope that the concept will be copied and that there will soon be another anniversary somewhere - we'd be ready.
