Is that a problem?
Where does sexual harassment begin? TBWA\Dublin confronts Ireland with its own behavior.
Director Brendan Canty directs a spot for the Irish Department of Justice and Equality that shows five types of sexual harassment. From unwanted physical contact to possible sexual abuse, where is the red line? The haunting voice-over of poet Stephen James Smith asking "Is this a problem?" makes it clear: The lines from "a little too much" to violence are fluid, and boundary crossings are not excusable under any circumstances. Yes, it is a problem. In Ireland, people are tired of being ignored and glossed over.
For a second film, scenes from the first spot were played to various focus groups. The comments with which the scenes are played down make it clear: There is still a lot to be done.
