«Come Together,» the H&M Christmas commercial directed by Wes Anderson, is wonderful.

Director Wes Anderson - known for his works "The Royal Tenenbaums", "Moonrise Kingdom" and "Grand Budapest Hotel", among others - amazes and touches with a very different kind of Christmas commercial. For the fashion chain H&M, he sends Oscar-winner Adrien Brody (including "The Pianist") on a wondrous train journey. The passengers are in danger of missing the big party due to a snowstorm and the resulting eleven-hour delay. But the resourceful conductor thinks along with them and arranges what needs to be arranged.

The actors are all wearing clothes from the H&M winter collection. And at least the basic idea comes from the London agency Adam&Eve/DDB. The almost four-minute end result creates a refreshing contrast to all the emotional overdoses we are given by the advertising industry during the Christmas season. (hae)
