Dog with preference for hip hop seeks like-minded owner
According to a new study, dogs have their own individual musical tastes. Thanks to Serviceplan, Spotify is now matching stray animals with people who share similar musical tastes.

A recently published study by the University of Glasgow shows: Dogs have individual tastes in music and enjoy songs just as much as humans do. Together with the Munich Animal Welfare Society, Serviceplan Campaign X therefore came up with the idea of using this connection to bring the "right" animal together with the right owner.
The music streaming service Spotify was won over as a media partner and intermediary. A partnership that makes sense: No other music provider knows the musical preferences of its listeners as well as the Swedish streaming giant. "We use this to suggest dogs to users who like the same music in individual video banners," explains Hans-Peter Sporer, creative director at Serviceplan Campaign X. The banners, which are now being placed, ultimately lead to a Micrositewhere all participating dogs are presented listening to their favorite music. The animals are assigned to different music genres: for example, electro, classical, pop, rock and hip-hop dogs are waiting for the right owner.
Anyway:Who gives his dog love and time, probably still makes him the much greater joy than with the right song. (hae)
