Good Fellas" becomes "Good Bagels": Mafia old master Rober De Niro plays the role he always plays - only more convincingly than he has for a long time. In the two-minute TV commercial, De Niro shines alongside Warburton's CEO Jonathan Warburton himself. The latter thinks the New Yorker has traveled to Bolton to present him with a new film plot. In reality, however, the angry godfather is actually interested in snatching the lucrative British business with US cookies. Drugs? Human trafficking? Weapons? Bagels! His plan: to sabotage Jonathan Warburton's family business with his own "family" until the tide turns.

Even if the film only has just under 20,000 views after two days: It will go viral. Media reports celebrating the ad as De Niro's comeback are one of the reasons for this. "Roll of a lifetime: Robert De Niro's ad for Warburtons bagels is his best work in years" praises the British newspaper The Guardian. This doesn't speak for the latest chapter in the old master's filmography, but at least it shows that he's still got it. Anytime, anywhere. Even in an English commercial.
