A waterfall-powered pub? Hold my Beer!

Carlsberg UK has released a web series in which six young people build a climate-neutral pub in the woods. The idea came from the agency Fold7.

What initially sounds like a beer idea turns out to be real on closer inspection. The four-part documentary series "Build the Danish Way" shows how to do it the Danish way, in which Carlsberg has the British build a pub. In the wilderness - far away from civilization. Powered by a waterfall. The six participants had five days to build the structure from the ground up.

It succeeded - the pub, which can sleep up to six people, is on AirBnB for a limited time ready for rent. For groups who like to enjoy their after-work beer in absolute seclusion. And yet, thanks to waterfall power, don't want to do without amenities such as a tap. Incidentally, the film series was produced by the production company Armoury Films. Cheers! (hae)
