Snickers is making its Super Bowl debut: The commercial will be produced and aired live.
The Super Bowl is coming up again soon. On February 5, not only the two currently best North American football teams will compete, but also the US advertising clients and agencies. As the best (and often the most expensive) advertising ideas are pulled out of their sleeves for the Super Bowl every year, the NFL final is probably the only TV event in the world where the advertising blocks are eagerly awaited and followed with the greatest interest. This is why viewers are even made curious about the broadcast in advance with teasers.
Snickers is presenting an absolute novelty this year: a TV commercial will be broadcast live during the first advertising block. On board: the actor Adam Driver (including "Star Wars: The Force Awakens"). Lesser-known actors. Horses. A dead cowboy. The actors are currently being cast. BBDO New York is not revealing any more in the teasers.
