The most beautiful waste
The Swedish agency Stendahls shows us how we need to think of fish in the future: as waste.
According to the latest forecasts, by 2050 there will be more waste floating in the oceans than fish. This is not only alarming, but also fatal for the entire ecosystem. It may still be possible to avert total collapse - various NGOs and start-ups have been looking for effective solutions for years. One way is to raise awareness. Also in Sweden. Even if Sweden is probably not one of the main causes of marine pollution. You have to start somewhere. For example, with a beautiful poster that illustrates the fish diversity of the future. The NGO West Coast Foundation had the posters, which are well worth seeing, put up on waterfront promenades - and is hoping for a rethink. (hae)
