The competition celebrates the KFC founder
Audacious: KFC and Butter Düsseldorf let the Burger King and Ronald McDonald congratulate Colonel Sanders on his birthday, who would have turned 130 on Wednesday.
In Butter's anniversary campaign, "really everyone" is celebrating the Colonel. On a specially created for the campaign Microsite various influencers congratulate the late KFC founder. But among the well-wishers are also competitors McDonald's and Burger King. In two TV commercials, the clown and the king congratulate the KFC founder - and praise his fried chicken, the recipe for which they still haven't figured out.
Of course, a birthday serenade may not be missing: German rapper Eko Fresh and actor Timur Ülker also congratulated the Colonel in their birthday song.
