The hacker poster
AMV BBDO, Hiscox, and Grand Visual not only highlight the serious threat of cybercrime, but also the enormous potential of DOOH.

To promote the "CyberLive" offer from British insurer Hiscox, the agency AMV BDDO worked with DOOH specialist Grand Visual to develop an interactive poster that visualizes cyber attacks in real time.
So-called "honeypots" were used for this purpose. Honeypots are decoy servers that are used in computer security to obtain information about attack patterns and attacker behavior. The real, "valuable" servers are better protected. The findings from the honeypots are used to shield the real data even more efficiently against attackers.
The honeypots used for the campaign, which were modeled on servers used by SMEs, were therefore set up to provoke cyber attacks - and to be able to display them visually on the billboards in real time. The more attacks, the more active the billboards. Around 23,000 attacks per day. According to Hiscox, one in three SMEs in the UK will become a victim of cybercrime sooner or later. (hae)
