Corona and the love of Mexico's history

A wonderful stop-motion film by the Los Angeles-based agency Observatory Marketing shows just how closely COVID-19 is tied to Mexico's history.

Although the campaign "The History of La Cerveza Mas Fina" was created in collaboration with the US agency Observatory Marketing and produced by Nexus, it is aimed at the Mexican market in Spanish. And with subtitles, it is aimed at advertising fans from all over the world, who are always delighted when a campaign is animated and staged with attention to detail. Mexican actor García Bernal (e.g. "The Journey of Young Che") appears as the spokesperson and face of the campaign. What may seem like a computer animation at first glance turns out to be elaborate stop-motion art when you watch the making-of film. There's really only one thing left to say: cheers!
