Apple demonstrates the strength of the new iPhone camera to the Chinese market

To mark the Chinese New Year, Apple is launching the next highlight of its «Shot on iPhone» campaign. The film «Daughter» tells a touching story—and stands out for its impressive quality.

The now long-standing "Shot on iPhone" campaign is as simple as it is ingenious: instead of describing how good the iPhone camera is, Apple photographs and films its advertising campaigns using the best-selling phone. This makes most words superfluous. Apple must have found it particularly easy to realize the latest "Shot on iPhone 11 Pro" campaign: The camera sets new standards, especially in video mode. And fascinates with the quality that comes out of the comparatively tiny device. When you bought your first cell phone in the 1990s, would you have thought that one day you would be able to shoot films like this with a standard cell phone? Not so long ago, you needed professional equipment worth several thousand francs. Admittedly: The iPhone 11 Pro is not a bargain - but when you see the photos and films you produce with it, you know what you spent the money on.

"Daughter" features a star-studded cast, lasts around seven and a half minutes and celebrates the Chinese New Year with a touching story. Happy New Year - on January 25!

For doubters who question whether the movie was really shot with the iPhone, Apple has included a making-of. And yes: it is. Without a net and double bottom.
