Adaptive typeface
To promote Mercedes' adaptive 4MATIC suspension, the first e-book was created that adapts to the reader.

The idea could be groundbreaking: a book that adapts to the reader while reading. Here, the approach was used to demonstrate what adaptive means. The agency Gruppo Roncaglia hired Italy's most popular writer, Gianrico Carofiglio, and had him write a novel. "The Shape of Clouds" adapts completely to the reader and rewrites itself each time - depending on where the reader is, what the weather is like, what day it is, what time of year it is, what the traffic is like. The book uses Google's API for this purpose. The IT giant was involved in the development of the campaign and provides the reader's environmental data via the smartphone. Not only does the story adapt to the surroundings, but also the user interface of the pages: Steetview images are displayed and the weather is visualized.
The book can be downloaded at Theshapeofclouds.eu and is now also available in English. Unfortunately, the fun does not work properly in Switzerland. Unfortunately, it only works in Italy, the UK, Germany, France and Spain. What a pity. (hae)
