60,000 kilometers

To mark its 70th anniversary, Land Rover tells the story of two Canadians who traveled no less than 60,000 kilometers in their vehicle. And in the process, they crossed 19 countries.

The three-minute film, produced by Wonder Screen and created by Spark44, tells the story of Robert Bateman and Bristol Foster. The two Canadians undertook a trip around the world over 60 years ago. Their vehicle: a custom-built Land Rover from the first series, nicknamed "Grizzly Torque". Bateman was a nature painter, Foster a biologist.

The expedition seems timeless - even 60 years after the start, the viewer is still overcome with the desire to do the same as the two adventurers. Preferably in the same car - also timeless. (hae)
