Zurich Bankers Association launches "Los is Läbe" campaign for young talent

The Zurich Banking Association is launching a new digital campaign to promote vocational apprenticeships in the financial sector. The goal is to familiarize young people with the wide range of training opportunities available in the industry.

On Monday, the Zurich Bankers Association launched the "Los is Läbe" campaign for young people. It is aimed at young people in the process of choosing a career and is intended to show how varied and future-oriented an apprenticeship in the banking and insurance sector can be.

The campaign will be played out digitally via social media and presented on the website. Losislaebe.ch information on job profiles, apprenticeships and development opportunities. In short video formats, apprentices talk about their everyday lives and provide insights into apprenticeships such as business administrator, mediamatician, IT specialist or digital business developer.

"Our members invest a lot in training and promoting young talent. With 'Los is Läbe', we show how modern, digital and meaningful an apprenticeship at a bank or insurance company is," says Christian Bretscher, CEO of the Zurich Banking Association. The apprenticeship, combined with a vocational baccalaureate, also opens up further academic paths.

The Zurich financial center is one of the largest training providers in the canton. With this campaign, the association aims to raise awareness of these entry-level opportunities and at the same time emphasize the attractiveness of dual vocational training. "With this campaign, the Zurich Bankers Association is making an active contribution to promoting vocational training in the canton of Zurich and strengthening the financial center," explains President Patrick O. Müller.

The Zurich Bankers Association comprises 39 banks with around 40,000 employees. Leading insurance companies in the Zurich area are also associated members. Promoting education and young talent is one of the association's central tasks.
