Wunderman Thompson reaches into the social media bag of tricks for Geberit

For Geberit AquaClean, the Zurich-based agency Wunderman Thompson has launched an international social media campaign featuring top athlete Kariem Hussein. As Geberit Switzerland’s brand ambassador, he dispels misconceptions about AquaClean shower toilets in a refreshing and social media-friendly way.

The campaign is aimed at people who already know what a shower toilet is but have not yet decided to buy one for various reasons. Market research shows that there are prejudices, but these can be refuted in no time at all with specific product benefits. For example, some people cannot imagine how gentle and pleasant the shower spray feels, how hygienically clean the shower spray actually is, and that installation is easier than one might think.

A total of five videos pick up on the target group's possible reservations and rebut them in a positive way by simply and quickly getting to the heart of the respective product advantages of the Geberit AquaClean shower toilets. For example, that the shower nozzle is always freshly showered - because it is automatically cleaned before and after each use.

Special visual effects ensure that the videos stand out in the feed of the target group and are watched: Sometimes Kariem moves a video ad to the side. Sometimes he reaches over the posting text and pulls out a smartphone behind it to show the individual shower spray settings via app.

The campaign is already in use in Switzerland and is being rolled out in a total of 17 languages across Europe.
