Valencia and Coop: Starting signal for summer fun
Summer 2021 will not only be exciting and playful, but also colorful: Coop's new collection campaign is all about color. Valencia Kommunikation staged the accompanying campaign accordingly.

In the current collection campaign of the retailer Coop, there is everything that makes the Swiss vacation in the swimming pool, on the lakeshore or in the park fun: swimming rings, picnic blankets and drinking bottles in Tropical design, Hamam beach towels, badminton sets and even Kubb games are included as collection prizes.
The accompanying campaign by Valencia Kommunikation was designed in a correspondingly summery and colorful way. The promotional name "Summer, get set, go!" is intended to whet the appetite for a direct start to the summer season. The range of advertising measures is diverse and extends from POS and OOH measures to dialog and online in a coordinated mix of digital and print.
For the moving image, Valencia relied on a special spot idea. "It was important to us that the spot's production and message conform to the current pandemic measures," says creative director Tommy Schilling. So the plan was to realize the spot as a kind of stage production, which would have the models act in a summer setting without actually showing a swimming pool or anything like that. The spot was adapted to various formats for TV and online use. In addition, a tutorial for the Kubb game was filmed during the shoot, which will be used as a separate explainer film.
The "Summer, get set, go!" collection campaign has been running since Friday and will continue until July 4, 2021 at Coop supermarkets and various partner formats.
