Thjnk for Ochsner Sport: Growing Through Challenges
Anyone who wants to reach the top in sports must overcome adversity. That’s the message of Ochsner Sport’s new ad for the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025—a tribute to the journey of young talents and a statement in support of Swiss women’s soccer.
The focus is on FC Barcelona and national team player Sydney Schertenleib, who symbolically navigates her way through various age groups. She plays her way through the hurdles of her career—represented visually by opponents who stand in her way. But every time she outplays one, the resistance dissolves into Liquid Smoke. A visual metaphor for what remains when you overcome obstacles: progress and self-confidence.
The film was shot at the FCS Arena in Schaffhausen, featuring two young players in the role of the young Sydney, as well as dozens of opponents. The film celebrates not only personal growth, but also the place where it begins: the Swiss sports field.
The film can be seen on TV, at the POS and in various online formats. Subjects were also created for use online and in print.
As Switzerland’s largest sports retailer, Ochsner Sport is a long-standing partner of the Swiss Football Association (SFV) and the «official fan shop» of the Swiss national team. Soccer fans can find the official jerseys and fan merchandise of the participating nations in the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 at 100 stores.
