Swissquote and Cavalcade Are Relying on AI

With a new national campaign, Swissquote and the creative agency cavalcade are sending a clear message: The Swissquote AI campaign centers on an orange bull—a deliberately distinctive symbol that breaks with the image of the bull on Wall Street and redefines the brand identity of the digital banking leader. The campaign is based on a partnership between the two companies that has grown over the past seven years.

In the world of investing, the bull traditionally symbolizes ambition, but is also associated with the arrogance of the financial elite. Swissquote has always made it its mission to make financial opportunities accessible to everyone—and has therefore created its own bull: a strikingly designed figure in orange that is meant to embody the brand’s ethos.

Three short films, produced entirely with AI

In keeping with the principles of the Western Swiss agency cavalcade, the orange bull is brought to life in a series of tactical mini-films. Each film highlights a specific benefit of the offering—security, simplicity, and versatility—always with a subtly offbeat tone. The three spots are available on YouTube and are titled «Soccer,» «Investing,» and «Bank Security.».

The technological approach is particularly noteworthy: All of the films were created entirely using artificial intelligence. As stated in the press release, Swissquote deliberately waited for advancements in AI to achieve the best possible visual result. The result is said to be virtually indistinguishable from human-made content to the untrained eye.

According to the press release, under the direction of the studio Made By Humans and director James Lovick, the production achieves a level of realism that tricks the viewer's eye. This approach is in line with the bank's spirit of innovation.

The foundation for a new visual identity

With this Swissquote AI campaign, Swissquote and cavalcade say they are laying the foundation for a new, expressive visual identity. The campaign aims to demonstrate that banking communications can combine sophistication, creativity, and a lighthearted touch. It is now airing on television, appearing on billboards, and featured in digital media and on social media.
