Thjnk: Sir Rowan Atkinson enhances the Frey commercial

The Migros chocolate brand Frey is bringing British humor to the Swiss TV advertising scene with Rowan Atkinson. Under the tagline «Chocolat ohne Trallala,» the commercial shows that sometimes chocolate is just perfect the way it is.

The latest campaign for Migros' own brand Frey features the world-famous British comedian Sir Rowan Atkinson. Known for his unmistakable portrayal of Mr. Bean, Atkinson brings his humorous style to the chocolate commercial. The movie opens with a scene in which Atkinson shows off his trademark lanky walk before absurdly trying to improve the Frey chocolate bar. Despite all the creative attempts, from complicated gestures to mischievous ideas, the message remains clear at the end: "Frey - Chocolat ohne Trallala." The chocolate needs no extras - it is perfect in its simplicity.

The campaign is a breath of fresh air in the chocolate advertising block and stands out from the otherwise rather serious industry with its typical British humor and Atkinson's "physical comedy". Frey and Atkinson manage to portray the pleasure of chocolate as what it should be: an experience full of joy and lightness. The decision to enlist Atkinson for this campaign takes the brand to a new level and appeals to both the older and younger generations who know Atkinson through his roles as Mr. Bean and his cartoon character.

The new Frey commercials will be broadcast immediately in cinemas, on TV, DOOH, online and on social media.
