"Are you not Dario Cologna?"
Dario Cologna surprises customers as a gas station attendant and gives them useful tips on how to save energy, money and CO2 when driving. The Swiss cross-country skiing star is at the center of the 2017/2018 winter campaign for the AutoEnergieCheck of the garage owners in the Auto Gewerbe Verband Schweiz (AGVS).

The representative survey published by SRF at the end of November confirms that 89 percent of respondents think it is important for each individual to do something to combat climate change through their personal behavior.

Swiss cross-country skiing star Dario Cologna knows how easy it is. As an ambassador for the AutoEnergieCheck (AEC), he has already helped thousands of Swiss motorists to save energy, money and, above all, CO2: over 40,000 tons in the past five years. The AEC is a service provided by Swiss garage owners in the Auto Gewerbe Verband Schweiz (AGVS). It was developed in close cooperation with EnergieSchweiz, the federal government's energy efficiency program.
For the 2017/2018 winter campaign, several videos were filmed with Dario Cologna in Davos to motivate motorists to take the AutoEnergieCheck at their AGVS garage. Dario Cologna takes on the role of a gas station attendant who surprises the motorists, has garage owner Marco Müller show him how to make his own car fit for the winter - and finally gives sensible gift tips as Santa Claus.
The campaign was launched at the beginning of December and will run until the end of the Geneva Motor Show in mid-March. Wideboards for desktop and mobile, pre-roll and in-article videos, and advertorials on the Admeira network will be used, supplemented with paid posts, InRead videos, and AdSpots sidebar on 20Minuten in German- and French-speaking Switzerland.
