Serviceplan Suisse shows for Swisscom where to save - and where not to save

Swisscom offers a mobile deal to all its new customers under 30. In the promotion, Serviceplan Suisse stages moments in the lives of young people when saving money is really not the order of the day.

SwisscomAnyone who takes out a Young Mobile subscription for one year by September 5, 2021, will enjoy savings of up to 50 percent. Swisscom commissioned Serviceplan Suisse to make these attractive offers palatable to a young target group under 30 and to generate as many new customers as possible.

The agency's solution is a direct digital campaign implemented in line with the target group: Swisscom offers save young people money. But not at all on the things that are really important to them. Consequently, the calls to action in the advertising materials are "Don't save with Likes" or "Don't save with tags" and end with the binder "Save on subscriptions.

The campaign has been running since the beginning of August and takes place primarily on social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat, supported by classic banners. The agency produced a special exclusively for TikTok: In short film sequences shot at Zurich's Wow Museum by Serviceplan Suisse's in-house creators, Swiss dancers dramatize the discount offer with a mirror effect. In other words: all the fun for half the price.
