Scholz & Friends launches campaign for the launch of MySports

On September 8, 2017, the new Swiss sports channel MySports will go on the air. To mark the occasion, Scholz & Friends Zurich has developed a campaign designed to establish MySports as the new Swiss sports channel that is committed to both athletes and sports fans.

The main message: MySports is there for both. For the sport and for the fans. The campaign therefore focuses on the passion and love of sport that unites sports fans with athletes. It shows fans who show a similar level of commitment to the sport as the athletes themselves when they are cheering along in front of the screen. The trigger for this is the MySports program, which offers fans unique live experiences, according to the statement.

The orchestrated campaign for MySports as well as the UPC channel package MySports Pro will start from August 18, 2017 on TV, online, print and at the point of sale.

Program director and presenter Steffi Buchli likes the central idea of the commercial: "Two worlds merge, that of the athlete and that of the fan. That's exactly how MySports should look. We want to bring the sport close and alive to the viewer. That's what this campaign stands for." In French-speaking Switzerland, editor-in-chief Alex Burkhalter addresses the viewers in the spot.

MySports will offer high-quality and innovative live sports entertainment with its own editorial teams in all language regions from the start of broadcasting. UPC and the other cable network operators of SUISSEDIGITAL will thus enable more than three million households to access the channel.
