Ruf Lanz: Tilsiter for more maturity in parliament

The "Tilsit Wisdoms" go into the next round. The current subjects are as mouthful as the politicians on the election posters at the moment.

Tilsiter is the delicate cheese from eastern Switzerland that has been produced in family cheese dairies for 130 years. To bring the traditional brand to everyone's attention, Tilsiter Switzerland launched a new campaign at the beginning of 2023, conceived by Ruf Lanz: the Tilsiter Wisdom.

These take the old custom of rhymed peasant wisdom and translate it into the present day. With pointed allusions to current trends, topics and events.

According to Sibylle Marti, President of Tilsiter Switzerland, the campaign struck a nerve: "The population quickly picked it up and continued to rhyme cheerfully. As a result, we are also in a cheerful dialogue with our cheese lovers on social media."

The current wave of posters makes a bold reference to the federal parliamentary elections. For this purpose, the billboard has been placed in the period from October 9 to 22, i.e. in the hottest phase of the election campaign. Because on Sunday, October 22, the new National Council and Council of States will be elected.
