Ruf Lanz: Campaign for Animal in Law Foundation

Surprising ideas are also needed in animal welfare to raise public awareness. The Foundation for Animals in the Law is once again turning to Ruf Lanz for this purpose.

Even in Switzerland, animals are far from receiving the legal protection they deserve. With their new
Awareness campaign, the Foundation for the Animal in Law (TIR) wants to draw attention to this deplorable state of affairs. As cats, mice, horses and fish remind by means of
Paragraph signs immediately themselves to their rights. In addition the courageous appeal: Help us to give animals right.

This is unfortunately necessary because many legal requirements are merely minimum standards, compliance with which has nothing to do with optimal animal husbandry, but rather represents the borderline between just legal behavior and animal cruelty. In addition, the applicable regulations are often not consistently implemented by the responsible administrative and penal authorities.

This is already the seventh major appearance that Ruf Lanz has conceived for Tier im Recht. According to Dr. iur. Gieri Bolliger, TIR Managing Director, the previous campaigns "have caused a stir far beyond animal protection circles and triggered debates on animal welfare. In addition, numerous awards won have brought our work to the attention of other media."

Animal campaign without animal shootings

For the visual production, Ruf Lanz worked closely with the renowned Carioca Studio in Bucharest. All motifs were created entirely on the computer - without animal shoots. The campaign will be seen on posters, ads, postcards, fundraising mailings and social media.
