Ruf Lanz drives in with Knabenschiessen motif for VBZ

Just in time for the Knabenschiessen fair, VBZ is featuring a new ad by Ruf Lanz: “Electric power has always been the way to go.”.

In 2001, Ruf Lanz set the course for the VBZ campaign "Umsteigen lohnt sich", which positions streetcars and buses as a smart alternative to private motorized transport in Zurich. "Not with missionary zeal, but in a surprising and entertaining way. That's why the campaign still has many supporters among the population today," says Silvia Behofsits, Head of Corporate Communications at VBZ.

Allusions to current events and occasions in Zurich are also a recurring feature of the campaign. The most recent motif is dedicated to the Knabenschiessen-Chilbi, which takes place from September 6 to 9 in Albisgütli: A young man in a bumper car shows that electrically powered vehicles have always been more popular. The motif is intended to build a bridge to the comfortable VBZ "electric scooters" such as streetcars and trolleybuses - which are not only popular with the clique, but everywhere in Zurich.

On the one hand, the motif communicates the VBZ travel offer during the Knabenschiessen-Chilbi, on the other hand it is also used with a text independent of the event.
