Rocket and fighter jet pilot provide female tech offspring
The Lucerne-based agency Rocket has produced a video for Swiss TecLadies featuring Fanny Chollet, Switzerland's first female F/A-18 pilot.

With its national initiative Swiss TecLadies, the Swiss Academy of Engineering Sciences SATW is working to combat the shortage of skilled workers and, in particular, women in technical professions. The Academy receives support from Fanny "Shotty" Chollet and Rocket.
Together with the military pilot, a short film was produced that serves as the campaign's key visual and is broadcast via various channels. SATW and Rocket also designed various other online and offline measures.
The aim of the campaign is to motivate as many people as possible, and especially girls between the ages of 13 and 16, to take part in the Swiss TecLadies online challenge (online-challenge.ch). In the Challenge, the technical knowledge of the participants is put to the test. At the end of the Challenge, 70 girls in the aforementioned age group will have the chance to take part in a nine-month mentoring program. In this program, the young talents are encouraged, strengthen their self-confidence and pave the way for a technical career.
