Partner & Partner is on big duty for the Winti Cops
The Winterthur City Police Department needs more officers and is launching a recruitment campaign in collaboration with the agency Partner & Partner. The campaign is being promoted under the "Winti Cops" label.
Since the beginning of October, eye-catching phrases such as "Fed up with the job of village sheriff?" or "City police looking for country bumpkins" have been appearing on the web and on posters around Winterthur. With these headlines, the city police want to attract attention with a wink of the eye and thus get the right, future employees on board, according to a spokeswoman for the city police in a report by Züri Today.
Winterthur currently lacks around a dozen trained cops. By filling vacant positions, the city police officers should be relieved and Winterthur should remain the safest major city in Switzerland.
In Switzerland, a city with more than 100,000 inhabitants is considered a big city, which also defines the everyday work of the police differently than in small towns. To show the range of operations of the big city police, a short film was produced as part of the campaign, which was prominently displayed on the Campaign landing page is used and advertises police work in the big city.
