For Reporters Without Borders, Jung von Matt/Spree created gloomy landscapes to symbolize the increasingly difficult working situation for journalists in certain countries.

The World Press Freedom Index 2017 by Reporters Without Borders reflects a world in which attacks on the media have become commonplace. In some countries around the world, heads of state have become almost insurmountable "obstacles" for media professionals. The Jung von Matt/Spree campaign conveys this result in gloomy subjects. The inhospitable, unconquerable mountains are called Mount Trump, Mount Putin and Mount Kim. Let's hope that there are enough mountaineers (or blasters) among the journalists. (nod)
