With UPC and Jeff to entertainment heaven at the Zurich Film Festival
Take a seat and literally take off: At this year’s Zurich Film Festival, visitors can enjoy a very special virtual reality experience. Under the slogan «Off to Entertainment Heaven,» they’ll have the chance to discover UPC’s new TV experience.

No sooner are participants sitting comfortably in the simulator chair than they are catapulted out of the virtual living room and into the sky. Once there, they take control with the new UPC TV remote control and fly to huge, floating TV screens showing the latest blockbusters and movie classics from UPC TV. If you look down, on the other hand, you'll be fascinated by the fabulous bird's-eye view of the entire city of Zurich.

What is special is that the TV chair also "plays along". The movable armchair, which was produced especially for the experience, lifts itself up into the air during takeoff, so that the feet lose contact with the ground. This creates a particularly immersive experience.
The concept, interactive storytelling and implementation were created in close collaboration between Jeff and the game studio Staay Interactive. Interested parties can experience "Entertainment Heaven" until Sunday, October 7, at the Festival Center on Zurich's Sechseläutenplatz, which is open to the public, daily from 4 pm.
If you want to win a prize in addition to flying through the entertainment sky, you have to match all the films to the correct movie poster on a tablet app. Concentration is required, however, as roaring jumbo jets or passing kites try to distract audiovisually. There are VR glasses to be won every day and the main prize is a year's free Happy Home with the new UPC TV.
