Madonna.studio for the Swiss Heart Foundation: Numbers that really matter in life
Through the «Know Your Numbers» prevention campaign by Madonna.Studio, the Swiss Heart Foundation is raising public awareness about blood pressure and cholesterol levels—and recommends regular heart checkups. The goal is to reduce the number of cardiovascular diseases in Switzerland.

Cardiovascular diseases are still the most common cause of death in Switzerland, despite major advances in cardiac medicine. The main risk factors include high blood pressure and high cholesterol levels. The insidious thing is that elevated blood pressure and cholesterol levels go unnoticed for a long time. Unnoticed, they can gradually damage the heart, blood vessels and other organs and significantly increase the risk of a heart attack and stroke. This is why it is so important to know your values.
Focus on values
With a broad-based prevention campaign, the Swiss Heart Foundation is raising awareness of blood pressure and cholesterol levels among the Swiss population and recommending regular heart checks. This first major Swiss campaign is intended to anchor this important health issue in the population's consciousness over several years in order to bring about a change in behavior.
Check in the pharmacy
The Swiss Heart Foundation's HerzCheck is an efficient means of early detection of cardiovascular disease. The approximately half-hour check can be carried out in over 500 partner pharmacies throughout Switzerland and includes a short questionnaire, analysis of cholesterol and blood sugar, measurement of abdominal girth and blood pressure and a discussion of the results, including health tips.
The really important figures
The campaign developed by Madonna.Studio - formerly Madonna Kommunikation - focuses on the numbers that our lives revolve around. Some of the most important figures - our cholesterol, blood pressure and blood sugar levels - often receive too little attention. With the catchy phrase "There are more important numbers in life", the campaign aims to correct this situation and calls on people to check their own values as part of a heart check. The point-of-view perspective also makes the campaign visually unique. It is intended to facilitate identification and leaves it largely open as to who stands for the respective number.
