Art XXL: World's largest footballer portrait for Tschutti Heftli

For Tschutti Heftli, Stevie Fiedler, co-founder and art director of Eyeloveyou, not only illustrated the portraits of the Swiss national team for collectible pictures on the occasion of the 2018 World Cup: Together with the agency team, his artistic idea was implemented on the size of a football field in an impressive live art movie.

Since 2008, the non-commercial Lucerne-based project "Tschutti Heftli" has been launching collector's booklets on the occasion of World and European Football Championships, which are seen by fans and the creative makers as an artistic alternative to the Panini collector's pictures: Instead of the usual footballer photos, the "Tschutti bildli" feature small works of art that are also a showcase of contemporary portrait and design styles.

500 international applicants dribbled out

As one of 32 artists, the Basel illustrator and agency owner Stevie Fiedler was able to prevail against more than 500 international competitors - with a proverbially straightforward idea: reduced footballer portraits are created from the white boundary lines of a classic football field. A concept that also gave Fiedler the special honor of portraying the players of the Swiss national team.

Football field size as a logical consequence

With the subsequent implementation of the idea on the soccer field of FC Sursee, Haris Seferovic's home turf, Stevie Fiedler and the Eyeloveyou agency team not only maximized the logic of the illustration idea, but also used sophisticated drone technology to create a live art movie that is already generating enthusiastic response in national and international media before the start of this year's World Cup. The portrayed Haris Seferovic is also thrilled: "Thank you for doing this. I recognized myself immediately and find it ."
