Child Protection Switzerland: New campaign for non-violent parenting

Neu Creative Agency is developing an emotional campaign for Child Protection Switzerland that shows parents alternatives to violence when they feel overwhelmed. At the heart of the campaign is a video that addresses everyday situations faced by stressed-out parents.

All parents are familiar with excessive demands. Even in Switzerland, parents reach their limits in everyday parenting. When stress gets out of hand, children are noisy and patience wanes, an outburst of anger is often just a moment away. This is exactly where the new campaign from Child Protection Switzerland comes in: it reminds parents that there are always alternatives to violence in such situations. Whether it's taking a deep breath, counting to ten or getting some fresh air: Anything is better than taking your frustration out on your child.

At the heart of the campaign is an emotional film that shows a mother and father who are increasingly overwhelmed in an everyday situation. Both are literally on the verge of exploding - recognizable in the film by burning fuses that come dangerously close to them. Will they blow up? Or do they have themselves under control?

The corresponding posters show a father or mother with a burning fuse - with the clear request: "Before you blow up: go out into the air". Going out briefly and taking yourself out of the situation is just one of many alternative courses of action. With this campaign, Child Protection Switzerland is encouraging parents to pause and react consciously in tense moments. Simple tips and courses can be found on kinderschutz.ch to help make everyday life calmer and violence-free.

Because every child has the right to grow up without fear and violence - and every parent deserves support to make this possible.
