KGV Prevention Campaign Against Natural Hazards and Fires

The new 360° campaign by the Fribourg Cantonal Building Insurance (KGV) has been live since mid-May 2026—conceived and implemented by the agency FRANZ&RENÉ. The KGV prevention campaign aims to raise awareness among building owners in the Canton of Fribourg about appropriate protective measures against natural hazards such as hail, flooding, and storms, as well as fires. The bilingual campaign is being rolled out in two communication phases throughout the Canton of Fribourg.

As weather events become more severe, an increasing number of buildings are at risk of damage from natural hazards. According to the KGV itself, much of this damage could be prevented if property owners implemented appropriate preventive measures. This is precisely where the campaign comes in: It highlights solutions that every property owner can implement with the KGV’s support—both through consulting services and financial assistance in the form of subsidies.

Three key visuals for B2C and B2B

The campaign is based on three key visuals, each depicting a typical building from the canton of Fribourg and targeting different audiences in the B2C and B2B sectors. The visuals feature a villa, a farmhouse, and a corporate building. The preventive measures are presented as «additions» to the existing buildings and stand out clearly thanks to their color scheme.

The art direction of the simplified 3D visuals—complemented by playful elements—is intended to convey how easy it is to implement these prevention solutions. At the same time, the KGV is to be positioned as a dedicated partner and key player in prevention efforts within the canton. Peter Tarka was responsible for the 3D production.

360° distribution across multiple channels

The static and animated 3D visuals are distributed across numerous channels: daily newspapers, branding walls, display banners, social media, native ads, paid posts, and publications. Animated short films were also produced to accompany the campaign visuals, showcasing the three building types:
